Derives its name from the natural forms found in geology. Over time and under constant pressure from the elements new forms are cut with wind and scarred by deep cold. Within these new constructions fantastically beautiful shapes are found.
Taking this idea of pressure and time into the digital environment I produced Berg.6 the sixth exploration into these forms. Using the simplicity of the music (Hallapyydys by Pan Sonic) to explore architectonic shapes over time. Teasing you with its unknown form and slowly revealing with a crescendo of light and sound only to defragment and break down before sliding into the distance to re-emerge somewhere else in some other form.

A study into the disturbing beauty of mankind's exploration of nuclear weapons and the subsequent testing programmes. These tests which were carried out over a period of 40 years with 2046 tests taking place.
This short film explores the hypnotic and brutal power of these weapons of mass destruction. The soundtrack is by Squarepusher (Mutilation Colony) as its stunning soundscapes mirrored the full power of mans ability to destroy.

The GWRTH series is the continued exploration into deconstruction and mutation of the human form. In this series of films which studies the growing and flowering of new forms within the body. Each growth expands, mutates and unfolds before disappearing to reform again. I anticipate showing them across different sized screens and projections, all running continuously.
The Strek series is a collection of digital paintings based on stretching the human form into impossible shapes and capturing the moment before its lost. All of these paintings started life as a 3D human wireframe. Over time parts were eroded, broken, reformed and stretched to create new forms. This body of work lead to further explorations into the human form with the GWRTH series.
